His entire life has been turned upside down, he has lost his family, hell he has lost absolutely everything.

Who in Walt's mind do you think is the catalyst for this ? Here is a hint, Walt doesn't think it was Walt.

i forget what the hollywood term is for an episode like this but there's a phrase for it.

Bottle episode.

And I would not really consider "Fly" a typical bottle episode because it's really an encapsulation of what the whole series has been about.

Another awesome scene is when Walter talks about the moment he should have walked away, when he could have simply stopped and didn't, and he's realizing just how deep he had gotten and that there is no way out but just keep on going and see it through... regret, guilt, resignation, sweet jesus that was one of my favorite moments in the entire series.

I understand your need to see Walt and Jesse's relationship go back to the way it was, but the whole point of the series is PRECISELY the deterioration of it.

Never mind Walter seeing Jesse as the reason for the cluster-fuck that he finds himself in by ratting him out to Hank.

Remember, the difference between Walter and Jesse is that Jesse feels guilt, Walter sees absolutely nothing wrong with the things he has done. That's one of the BASIC, FUNDAMENTAL differences in their characters.

You think Jesse is about to forgive Walter for having poisoned Brock? For ordering Uncle to kill him, then when they spared him, kept him in a cage like an animal, forced him to cook meth for them and as result having to watch Brock's mom get shot?

I seriously doubt it.

Now another possibility would be that Jesse uses the same trick that Walter used in the first season to poison Krazy 8 and his buddy, combine chemicals to poison Uncle and his cronies since the fuckers don't bother with masks.

Then when he's leaving Walter finds him and kills him, or Jesse kills Walter using his surprise at seeing him alive.

I seriously doubt there's gonna be a happy ending for anyone.

I'm with that - no reason to bring those back in, and fits in just right with Walt not being to even give 100k to his family - this way his crimes haven't been in vain

guys, the last episode is called "FELINA"

wich in spanish means "female cat"

dont forget the latin girl exporting meth to europe, she will end up being kingpin , todd will be the army for her, hes stupid, she will manipulate.

Walt story will end up tragically, but the meth business is there to stay in the hands of the woman that is exporting meth to europe, is it that hard to see?

One theory floating around the web is that "Felina" may actually be a reference to the song "El Paso" by Marty Robbins.

"El Paso" lyrics

Out in the West Texas town of El Paso
I fell in love with a Mexican girl.
Night-time would find me in Rosa's cantina;
Music would play and Felina would whirl.

Blacker than night were the eyes of Felina,
Wicked and evil while casting a spell.
My love was deep for this Mexican maiden;
I was in love but in vain, I could tell.

One night a wild young cowboy came in,
Wild as the West Texas wind.
Dashing and daring,
A drink he was sharing
With wicked Felina,
The girl that I loved.

So in anger I

Challenged his right for the love of this maiden.
Down went his hand for the gun that he wore.
My challenge was answered in less than a heart-beat;
The handsome young stranger lay dead on the floor.

Just for a moment I stood there in silence,
Shocked by the FOUL EVIL deed I had done.
Many thoughts raced through my mind as I stood there;
I had but one chance and that was to run.

Out through the back door of Rosa's I ran,
Out where the horses were tied.
I caught a good one.
It looked like it could run.
Up on its back
And away I did ride,

Just as fast as I

Could from the West Texas town of El Paso
Out to the bad-lands of New Mexico.

Back in El Paso my life would be worthless.
Everything's gone in life; nothing is left.
It's been so long since I've seen the young maiden
My love is stronger than my fear of death.

I saddled up and away I did go,
Riding alone in the dark.
Maybe tomorrow
A bullet may find me.
Tonight nothing's worse than this
Pain in my heart.

And at last here I

Am on the hill overlooking El Paso;
I can see Rosa's cantina below.
My love is strong and it pushes me onward.
Down off the hill to Felina I go.

Off to my right I see five mounted cowboys;
Off to my left ride a dozen or more.
Shouting and shooting I can't let them catch me.
I have to make it to Rosa's back door.

Something is dreadfully wrong for I feel
A deep burning pain in my side.
Though I am trying
To stay in the saddle,
I'm getting weary,
Unable to ride.

But my love for

Felina is strong and I rise where I've fallen,
Though I am weary I can't stop to rest.
I see the white puff of smoke from the rifle.
I feel the bullet go deep in my chest.

From out of nowhere Felina has found me,
Kissing my cheek as she kneels by my side.
Cradled by two loving arms that I'll die for,
One little kiss and Felina, good-bye.

The letters of "FELINA" is an acronym for "FINALE"
I think you are right that Lydia will be part of the empire. But the door is still open for Walt, Jesse or even Skyler to be co-manager of the empire with her.
Walt's main goal is to go back and re-claim his empire and not have it fall into someone else's hands. He is very intelligent and determined and I think it is still possible that he kills off the nazis and leaves the blue meth empire in the hands of his family somehow - even if he dies in the process

AllAboutCams 09-25-2013 10:26 PM

It could end like the nick cage movie lord of war

all walts family dies and walt goes back to cooking to be king again

Well maybe Jesse, but not Skyler, shes got no idea how to make the meth. Theres a crazy thought i had while high, i know the chances are low, but what if in the end elliot and gretchen ally with Lydia?, theyre both powerful, they have grey matter and maybe they start doing it in an industrial scale!!!

My Finale

Walter White JR. turns out to be using meth all along.

And it was the blue stuff.

and DIES.

The Irony.

akkad47 09-26-2013 11:57 AM

Writing this before I read all the other theories here:

- The Ricin is for Lydia to sneak in her Tea. Walt originally wanted to turn himself in after calling the Feds from the Tavern's booth. Watching the Report where he sees Elliot and Gretchen discredit him after it's mentioned the Blue Meth is still in Circulation in both the South West and Europe is what triggers him to return home instead. Killing Lydia makes sure the distribution of the Blue Meth dies.

- The Machine Gun is obviously for Jack and his Nazi Crew, maybe even for Jesse so that the Blue Meth dies once and for all production wise

- As for conflicts between Skylar, Marie and Flynn...... I got nothing. I wouldn't be surprised if one of them, if not all of them end up dead.

1215 09-26-2013 05:33 PM

walter kills everything that moves.

I disagree.

I think Walter realized that Jesse is alive because he knows that Todd couldn't make his pure meth, even following his recipe. So the fact that blue, pure "Heisenberg"-quality meth is circulating again means Jesse wasn't killed by Uncle.

Remember, Walter made a deal with Uncle, kill Jesse and he'd cook for them one last batch because Todd couldn't manage to do it.

So on top of having killed Hank, of having taken his money, Uncle and his buddies didn't kill Jesse, whom he sees as the reason the chain of events got started.

So Walter is going back to kill Uncle's gang and Jesse.

Luckily enough Todd was one who shared our point of "you don't stop making lots of money once you have enough" or whatever was his exact phrase that made perfect sense. And that several of us we advocating. Turns out that Uncle Jack was just some dumb rednect not to understand that. Todd for the Nazi president :thumbsup

I was under the impression that Brock was killed off camera agter Andrea?

when Jessie is freaking out over Andrea the bikie tells him to calm down and that there is still the kid. But when Todd is looking in the house he can't be seen?

And no more talking about Jane, that seriously shattered me irl. Hated that show for a while after that... Fuck you Walt!!!

Why should kid be seen? He was inside his room (most likely) or playing video games or sleeping. And he is left for leverage over Jesse. Makes sense.

skrog 09-27-2013 03:08 PM

Jesse kills Walter and then kills Skylar and his daughter. Not very positive I know. I just can't see this turning out in Walter White's favor. Since mentioning to Jesse he watched Jane die and did nothing to save her. Flynn and Marie are the only ones left at the end of this violent ride.

I have to admit that personally, that was a bit of a let-down.

I understand why they would choose to do that kind of ending, but that's the kind of "safe" ending that I thought they would avoid.

It wasn't safe...it just made sense for the characters. Walt had no reason to kill Jesse at that point(or the desire) -- and Jesse didn't want to do Walt's dirty work anymore. Makes sense.

bronco67 09-30-2013 05:55 AM

Here's something that's nagging at me -- but didn't ruin my enjoyment of what I thought was a perfect ending....

Can a 7.62 round make it through a car's quarterpanel, then through a wall(stone or wood?) and still have the penetration power to rip through human bodies? I know the 7.62 has lot mopre penetration than a 5.56, but that seems unrealistic.

It's more realistic than having a manhunt for Walt and a 24/7 stakeout of Skyler's place as Walt easily walks in for a chat before loitering outside to see Jr one last time. Between that scene and last week having Todd and crew go into Holly's bedroom, it appears New Mexico police simply do not watch the back door of any property.

I'm sure Mythbusters will eventually test the ammo penetration values from that scene for you ;)
