    My boss and good friend just passed away... :(

    ...earlier this afternoon.

    Lost his second battle with cancer.

    We've worked together for almost ten years. Great guy...and personal friend outside of work.

    He never took retirement - worked into his 73rd year. Just one of those regular guys who had to stay active and vital. Respected and admired by everyone who knew and worked with him.

    Long-serving Canadian military veteran.

    A father figure to us all.

    He'll be sadly missed.
