Well for mutt, its still exclusive in the sense that it's exclusive to his people/company, he has a partner who shoots for met-art/barely legal/hustler and another photographer for his sites that shoots for playboy.

Exclusive to your photographer is way more important than exclusive to your site.The reason you make her exclusive to your site is because you dont want her to get over exposed or end up quitting your site/launch a site with somebody else. You can control that if shes only shooting with somebody you work with and trust because you know the only things she'll be shooting for is the things you shoot her for... which should be magazines/met/playboy and nothing else

And still, thats just Mutt, most peoples are indeed fully exclusive, to the site and photographer.
