Is it me or is no one going to Xbiz EU? I've tried to look up in a few places to see who's going and what's going on but can't find much.

Well, one thing happening at the show is that ATVOD CEO Pete Johnson is hosting a Q&A

If you've heard about the new Internet restrictions against adult in the UK, this is the guy

This is probably the single most important session at any adult trade show this year

Yeah, personally I would have love being able to come back to London for the show, but the scheduling was just a little off this year. It was just too much starting off in London, going to Cologne for idate, then heading to Amsterdam to come back to London and then to Budapest.

I am sure it will be a great show, plenty of locals that dont go to the other shows will be there plus some companies will be sending separate teams to different shows for full coverage.

I actually welcome some regulation into the industry, regulation offers opportunity is how I prefer to see things, but the nonsense they are proposing to truly ridiculous and will not protect anyone from anything.

I'm going. But, I think as VenzuelanChick said, it's the timing of other shows that's throwing people off London.

London was a great show last year, I had a great time.

XBiz seemed to schedule it a little bit wacky this year where it overlaps part of WM Access and part of The Euro Summit.

I wish I could have made it back to London, loved that city.

I've always been critical of the idea of scheduling new shows on top of existing shows. London would probably go a lot better if it were scheduled at a time other than September, it IS a pretty cool city to visit after all. Two shows work for Americans -- we can hit both shows in one trip. Three shows ... too much. And I'm not even counting some of the smaller events.

So that means many companies are forced to choose, and it's pretty hard to justify taking Amsterdam or Budapest out of the schedule.

Just left the AMS show, honestly I cant see why anyone would want to do back to back shows - but that said we are sending someone to Budapest. I'm off to Paris for a few days to relax.
