Because she was/is porn's only icon and gained mainstream fame/acceptance that no other porn star has managed to do. A 'B', probably 'C' celeb but for a porn star that is a huge accomplishment. Financially she shouldn't have to be on MFC, and maybe she doesn't have to but has other motivation besides money, but it isn't unreasonable to wonder if she's blown through enough money that she needs to cam.
Then there's just seeing the hottest porn star of all time age. I remember seeing Jenna's very first hardcore video, with Randy West. She was incredible, I immediately called my best friend and urged him to go to his video rental store and get the video - I hadn't seen a girl this cute and hot in a porn video.

Even IF you made a lot...without a revenue stream constantly coming in you won't last too long.
You can't say "she should have invested it"...the stock market dropped like a lead balloon with the economy back in 2008 (coming back now, but too late if you had to drop your holdings).
My guess would be that she simply needs more revenue coming in. Why not? She still has a huge brand. For her to sit back and NOT take advantage of it while the opportunity is still there would be dumb.
I say "good for her". It wasn't a good business decision to do what she did over the last few years. She needs to use her name and do something.
For instance, we were just hanging out with Katie Morgan a bit over the past couple of weeks while she was in Vegas filming parts of her television show. "Having Sex With Katie Morgan"
She was able to take her name and brand (which is nowhere CLOSE to Jenna's of course) and turn it into paid appearances, a show on ShowTime, etc.
There's no reason that Jenna shouldn't have a show on HBO or ShowTime and be making that money and running around with a film crew too.
I think it's smart of her to start getting back in touch with the fans. They are the ones who made her.

Yeah it's a circus - MFC should have walk-through videos for new cam girls, she has no clue how to control things and she doesn't understand that she's far better off in 'Group' then taking privates. If she put in a good 4-5 hour day on MFC - only doing tame nudity...she could probably take home 10k.
