    Mainstream Vs Adult

You would think in adult you would have a higher risk of fraud and scams but we have NOTHING on mainstream

Everyday i have some guy trying to get over on me lol

no doubt there. I've always viewed our industry has paved the way against online fraud though. We kind of needed to in order to survive the early days..

take into account most mainstream people aren't as "bright" as us, so they just throw something together and can get approved pretty quick with a merchant, unlike with adult there are a few more steps.

As PR_Glen said, we definitely paved the way against fraud protection

Are there any official stats that prove adult is 'high risk'?

If so does the high risk come from the consumer or from the webmaster eg. cross sales.

Imo the problem in adult (and gambling) is the banks look down on it and will side with the customer. Chargebacks are far too easy.

Perhaps because the main processor(s) refuse to fight chargebacks.

There are considerable more people in mainstream, so by default you're going to have higher fraud by ratio.
