The site in question got a grand total of 300 hits a day and made perhaps 3 sales a week. This happened years ago and is no longer the case. In fact, with the name change and new Network affiliates are making more money now with my company than they ever have before.

But anyone who feels they were not compensated fairly for their traffic please contact me immediately and we'll go over everything. As I said, moving forward, affiliates are doing great with Porn Nerd Cash! :)

Just to point out.... the fact that $/click worked in the other thread is just as true in this thread. Hopefully that convinces some confused part-time webmasters. It doesn't matter who shaves, who has technical bugs, who is on your naughty list or your nice list... if you go with your opinion of who may or may not be looking out for you... you will lose money. If you watch your $/click you will make smart decisions.

It really is that simple.

What if I'm promoting program A and B. Program A pays an average of $1/click and B pays an average of $2/click, but with program A being promoted with 10x the traffic that is higher targeted/quality and easier to get?..
That would have me wanting to promote program A over B, even though B pays a higher $/click since A is going to make me more money with less effort.

Just a random example, but you know what I mean.

This was discussed previously when sly brought it up. The resources each click cost factor in to the net $/click. If you can get clicks converting for 1/10th the price with sponsor A than B, it stands to reason B would have to pay you more than 10x what A pays to be your best paying sponsor. None of that changes the fact that the data is always in your complete control as long as you track how many clicks you sent, how much those clicks cost you and how much each sponsor actually paid you. All the rest is nonsense.
