Billy was a good guy. Always easy to get along with, professional, and positive. He enjoyed his life. This news is shocking. I cannot imagine a person not going to the hospital after being bit and I also cannot imagine a "friend" not insisting on calling 911 immediately after a person is bit by their snake regardless if you are going to get into trouble or not.Comment

Billy Glide was one of my most favorite male performers to work with the past five years. If you look at pornstarplatinum you will see him over and over again. Until the past year he was very reliable. About two months ago he showed up on a set blasted, talking erratic, acting strange, and reeking of booze. I thought he was just drunk so I politely asked him to go sleep it off and we would shoot again. We did but he was in more trouble than I thought at first with drugs and alcohol. I tried to help him a few times sending him to AA and NA which I am familiar with. I am clean/sober 26 years. Of course I can't save anyone but I tried to help and I was hoping he would get sober. On Wednesday at 12.46 pm he text me "you have anything coming up bro? " as to I said yes soon. He thanked me. A friend of mine called me this morning to tell me he had to send him home from a shoot on thursday cause he had no id's and was totally wasted.
The biz is filled with crystal, xanax, cocaine, vicodan, and other narcotics that people think are harmless. But as another person dies from unknown reasons "snakebite" the real causes are swept under the rug. RIP Billy I will miss you..Comment

Or the state is not taking a stand on this, it wasn't too long ago that the owner of Type 9 found one of his female talents dead in bed from an overdose..Comment

Got ya. It kinda sounded in your earlier post that you were advocating having the govt. come in and test people for drugs in their systems.
Which I wouldn't put past them to do by using "insurance", just like they've done to people with "straight" jobs as part of their "war on drugs" nonsense.
I could easily see them forcing us as producers to start carrying some kind of insurance...and then using that to force people to have to test for drugs.
I can see it now..."No honey, you can't shoot today because you did some blow at the strip club you work at last night."
