Wow, what a season opener that was. Denver actually trailed by 3 at the half but came back to win it 49-27 in a record-tying six+ touchdown night for Manning. In fact the score would have been 56-27 had that one dum-dum Bronco not dropped the ball an inch before crossing the goal line on what would have been a pick-six.
The Ravens' D obviously had too many holes punched in it by the loss of Ray Lewis and a few other key veteran guys. They're not the superbowl team of last year. The Broncos on the other hand look very much like a team who is a strong post-season contender right out of the gate.
And anyone who wasn't scared off by the -8.5 spread and went with the Broncos scored themselves a nice start in the pool. :D
