Well on that site the key problem is lack of premium traffic,it seems most of it coming from non-premium countries which is why it makes hard to convert.

If you wan't to promote dating/cams, you need loads of tweaking. If you are trying to promote a paysite, you only want to buy spots on related sites, otherwise you are just throwing money down the drain.

what were you advertising?
For that money you could have bought a GEOd RON campaign, and work to optimize your banners/landers. Assuming you know to track and analyze everything.
There are too many variables involved to try and figure out why it's not working - could be the traffic, could be what you're pushing. I've had dating sites that convert 1:900 and others 1:30 on the same traffic

Not anything to defend here. The guy bought a $500 ad on a site with 15% US traffic. If it was as easy as throwing $500 out there and doubling your money everyone would do it. Stats are there to view. Traffic quantity, traffic geo, ctr, cpc etc... Those that actually read what they are buying and tweak/adjust make money. Those that blindly buy and throw money into the wind fail. Juicy Ads is actually one of the best that post on this forum but ya gotta read what the hell you are buying as buying from a site with only 20% high quality traffic and 80% garbage geo not gonna pan out. Buying from sites like this just keeps them in biz, dedicate your $$$ to sites with a high percentage of quality geo traffic and that would help end those that list ads and then go feed em with garbage cheap bad geo traffic from other sources. Stop supporting sites with shitty geo traffic

Main problem of juicy comparing with exo, ero-adv, tj, old blacklabelads, maybe even trafficforce/trafficfactory is not having ability to geotarget spots from direct buys.

They are like Adxpansion which sucks for same reason. They starting to have direct buys at last, but still no geotargeting inside platform

They could be very good and cheaper for RON buys. But who knows, it probably only think which may be worthy so lot of competitors should be there.

Somewhat experienced media buyer here;)

Juicy, better to obtain some great sites in inventory, much of them already bought out forever, rest are sucks in quality or low traffic.

Waited for a thread like that to respond at last.

Here's mine. Only work with ad companies like Juicyads, AdXpansion etc that provide a HUMAN that you can talk to. Ask to have an account rep assigned to you that will help you with your advertising. Like every company knows, repeat business is what counts. If you work with a rep who knows what they're doing they'll show you good returns by making sure your ads work and are placed properly, keeping you advertising with them again and again.

I live on ad buys and creative's. So its still possible to make money off paid traffic.

1. Know your processing. Don't buy countries that don't have the right cards to purchase.
2. Test, tweak, micro-tweak your landing page/creative's to death
3. Track productivity, filter, track productivity, filter
4. Don't focus on source, but performance alone, you'd be surprised
5. Dumb it down - follow the geo only. I could give a shit where they come from, as long as they are truly uv and the geo I'm after

True, but ... if it wasnt for these people, brokers would have way less business, 100% fill rates would be a dream and some of them would be out of business
