It's very difficult to place exactly when WWII started. Did it start in 1935 with the Italian invasion of Ethiopia, the Spanish Civil war, Japan invading China, or with Nazi Germany?

We do have respect.
At the same time, you need to go over your figures. You want us to have respect for British POWs, yet more Americans died fighting in the South Pacific than there was British POWs. The US had 110k killed in the South Pacific during World War II, while the British had 37k held as POWs.
