Ok,

After several weeks and some success with reddit, I don't know how else to do this except briefly describe what I'm looking for.

I want to create a login panel for gfy'ers on reddit currently, and those possibly wanting to try it out.

PLEASE NOTE: This is not huge numbers by any means, but it is something worth 10 minutes per day doing.

This login panel will allow you to copy/paste a couple links you want to get upvoted on. It will list all the *friendly's* as well. So basically it will be a page with links with reddit usernames... a spot to copy/paste your own and whatever other features we come up with.

You need to upvote, comment in, etc. other people's post, and that gives you the opportunity to list your own.

I know, it can be very abused and something I certainly am considering. But if people can use it, it will work to all of our advantages.

If you want a group of 50-100 people in our *circle*... email me your reddit username from the email you want communication from. It can't be huge... but anyone who has played around on reddit knows how quickly competition will down vote you to remove your posts. Well, if done right, we can make sure nobody in beaner reddit circle will get down voted like that.

If you don't know... reddit is an *easy* way to get quick traffic with literally a couple minutes of your time.

Yeah, a lot had to do with the mods. A lot with posting frequency, a lot with upvotes/downvotes.

One thing to think about as well is with some friends, a lot easier to make a subreddit of your own popular. Then you are the mod ;)

This won't work unless you have a team of people online and voting/commenting at the same time. Without a surge of traffic in the first few minutes of content being posted, it won't gain any upvotes and will send very little traffic.

There are certainly ways to game reddit, but this isn't one of them.

Like I said... Manwin must have 100's of reddit accounts, they are, from my experience, the ones downvoting competition and upvoting themselves. Just take a look at the post source... if it is a video site, it is likely owned by Manwin.

3K easy... bump it up to 20K likely with friends. Join the beaner reddit circle and find out.

There is a reason I was asking before for people to post... it is a revenue stream. Just need to step it up and beanerreddit.com is 1 way to do it.

Manwin has created at least 200 usernames on reddit and they are getting a significant amount of traffic from it. We can actually fight that effectively with 50, 100, or so friends.

Everyone will need to be smart using it. I.e. don't post a link if mod's didn't put it live. That is a sure way to get everyone banned. When you upvote someone else, you *should* go to the subreddit, click on *new* and check to make sure the vid is actually there. If not... the post was put into the *do not display* location.

oh... and to add.

These subreddits are *MEANT* to drop images and video links. That is what they are for. It is just competition will downvote you. Maybe competition is the mod's as well... we will figure out what is what.

I will develop the tool more and figure out a way to help make creators of their own sub-reddits more popular. For starters, you just spam your subreddit in the comments section to get people there to start.

I used to post links to my new blog texts. Few pics with text linking on gallery or join page. Sometimes my links were posted and I was getting thousands hits (I had Plugrush widget installed). Profit. But most of my links were never approved. I have 4 sub-reddits with 40-140 followers.

You are welcome. I have not seen a great bounce, but what u do with that traffic is up to you. And it is mostly US traffic.

It is fun. I also think having a group of friendly's can achieve much more working together, not just reddit. This industry, for sure, needs more unified support and less, how can I quickly make cash while screwing others at the same time.

This couldn't be further from the truth.

As someone else mentioned, this won't be very effective without an initial surge. After 30 minutes or so, the community itself will either downvote you into oblivion or upvote naturally.

The reddit community is more "fierce" about good content and self-moderation than most other communities/sites I've ever been aware of. There's no army of Manwin employees going around downvoting anything - that'd be a VERY useless thing to spend their time and resources on.

Most, if not all, adult/nsfw sub-reddits use a few reddit-bots to allow for only certain domains to be submitted. If it's not from domains on this list, you're automatically deleted/hidden. Some sub-reddits are setup to automatically send a message or display a message notifying the end user of this & some are not. The main bot used was written by actual reddit staff to help improve efficiency with moderation on sub-reddits with larger traffic.

If you want real reddit help, shoot me a skype & I'll give you some tips.

This thread's premise will fail miserably.

That's the community not liking whatever you post; not "competition". There are only a few people in adult who are successfully using reddit on a large scale without any issues, because they submit content that the community wants to see. Many sub-reddits also have "fail safes" in place just for that. For example, you post a link to an awesome video on beeg.com, but it gets downvoted right away... on a couple of subreddits I moderate, we have it set that "0" still displays for x amount of time.

Reddit DEFINITELY works, but I haven't seen you post anything that hasn't been tried over and over again by adult webmasters just to see them get caught and entirely blacklisted. You will probably be shadow banned before too long. The reddit admins are very against self-promotion.

I wrote to the mod's direct at one of the biggest subreddit's for adult. Mentioned my posts were not getting listed, said exactly what I wanted to do... bam, next day, posts get listed just fine.
