I wouldn't get anything since I probably wouldn't notice. I check moderator mail for reports about once every two days & then browse casually in my down time, if I get it. Your conspiracies are cute, though. Please keep posting them.

His was one of the first added when the list was first created, which I had almost zero part in. You can also check my posting history where I've hinted at moderator mail which suggested he posted stolen content himself. I believe I posted it in a stop file lockers thread. After that shit storm is when he changed to a user submitted links sort of thing similar to reddit as opposed to what it was when he originally launched.

Before you try to defame someone, make sure you can actually defame them & not just make yourself look like a fool. :thumbsup

You're correct. Reddit is trying to "pull back" from that, because they're starting to realize without content creators, they wouldn't have a site, & if content creators aren't making money, they'll stop creating content unless they're a hobbyist. They're still extremely big on very, very clean sites, though, which is why imgur blew up so quickly over the past couple of years. One must also keep in mind that reddit's core userbase are very tech savvy individuals & usually more affluent and intelligent. So what works for marketing to the masses won't work for marketing on reddit.

Your posting history is what got you banned. You could've hit me up cordially and I would've used whatever "weight" I have to try & influence you being added to the approved list, but you chose the childish route. That approved list is watched over not only by the moderators, but the admin team as well. That means anything questionable that's added is a reflection on the moderator team. When your sub-reddit gets 40-50k visits per day and about 350-400 submissions that are automatically thrown into spam by reddit's spam filter, it attracts their attention.

I don't make things personal or take things personally. Just because you do and you wish to project that onto someone else doesn't make it true.

That is because it's trusted. 3 years ago, nsfw sub-reddits were rampant with spam and sites intentionally or unintentionally spreading malware.

What started as a way to get traffic to your sites easily has turned into something else. I'm sure you do not think adultking is little girl fighting a silly game? I know the answer to that. Anyone can check out that subreddit he mod's and make your own decision. It is a platform to post content stolen from someone. The more illegal, the more popular. The popularity is what that reddit is about and it is the mod's who then slip in their own links to gain, financially, from the popularity created by allowing all those stolen links.

Using only Imgur still doesn't address the issue for content creators/owners. A Mod can look at a site and know instantly whether it's intrusive/spammy/malaware etc...

Yes, and a big complaint from mods as well as users to staff was having to clean their PC after checking for just that when sites were reported and thus the approved domain list was born. Personally, I always have A/V on so I was never affected, but it certainly happened.

You can still do a considerable amount of branding using imgur. :thumbsup

You were personally the one who responded to me when i asked for my site to be approved on /pornvids. Your response was that reddit was not accepting any new sites.

Less then a day later my account was banned and my url blacklisted.

So again, please tell me what pops, ads, malware existed on judoporn.com to deny me. If you answer correctly, i will give you 1 iota of respect.

Search mycherrycrush on Reddit. I think that's right. That is an example of a model/company in adult doing everything EXACTLY right and doing it way well. She's treated like a rock star from what I've seen. She is very obviously promoting herself, but she's doing it in a pretty smart way.

I sent you an e-mail explaining(or attempting to, I'm rather tired) the entire situation in as much detail as my tired brain could muster right now. To clarify, though, that's the position of the sub-reddit. I can e-mail you screenshots of the other mods(& myself) saying the same thing to sites just as clean, if not cleaner, than yours. As I stated in the e-mail, though, all this board drama & back and forth is a waste of my time and yours. :thumbsup

So mods are upset because they got malaware cause they don't use A/V ??? I don't buy it. I know malaware was a problem but I do believe that social media sites (reddit included) have a knee-jerk reaction to people making money.

Also, most NSFW reddits do not have an approved submitters list as far as I can tell. Like I said they still only want Imgur and - like I said - it doesn't address the issue above.

I checked her out. She seems to be running it well. But that is HER subreddit. I wonder what would happen if she posted to the bigger NSFW subreddits with her watermark on her images.

Any NSFW reddit that has "auto_moderator" as a mod is using the approved domains list & usually imgur & minus are the only domains on that list with a few exceptions.

She has posted to /r/gonewild and a few others quite a few times. I haven't checked her out in quite some time, though, so I don't know if she has recently or if she has or has not seen any success in doing so. Watermarks aren't frowned upon, though, unless they're intrusive. How FEMJOY/Babes/X-Art watermark are good examples. That style of content is extremely popular across most of the bigger NSFW sub-reddits, but I think that's because most of them share a similar user base. We actually had a discussion about this about a year ago and the general consensus was to allow it as long as the watermarks weren't covering up the picture in an intrusive way.

Submissions aren't the only way. Beaner pointed at that often, imgur albums are posted in /r/nsfw in the comments after someone is posted. I've often seen some of the bigger babe affiliate sites(hottystop etc) get posted when saying "this is model xyz, and here are some of her galleries".

If you think that is the case, then you can e-mail Reddit staff & they will investigate it. If such is the case, it will be removed. They have done it many times in the past for both NSFW reddits & mainstream ones.

Regardless of this situation, I don't do any business in public - just not my style. It's funny you mention that, though, as I just removed a couple of links that were very obviously illegal, which is about the only modding I do on there when I am active.

Just because I know others are viewing, the length rule was actually suggested a while ago. The problem with that is many sponsors post longer videos themselves to bigger tubes(myself included), and many of the tubes on our allowed list actively buy content for this purpose. I do remove links when I know it to be illegal. That is, I know the content owner personally and know their position and/or their tube strategy, if it exists. I think you think I spend way more time on reddit & that sub-reddit in particular than I actually do. I wish I had that much free time. So does my girlfriend.

You would have better luck with mainstream stuff(or edgy articles while promoting a non nude dating landing page for example) writing GOOD articles. There are a couple people in our industry who do this, but their articles are actually useful/good. Think outside of the box and you'll reap much bigger benefits. Most of the people who've contacted me as a result of this thread wanted advice on how to generate traffic to their tube site/gallery site/pay site etc & I've of course given that to them.

Others have asked how they can generate WAY more traffic with way more engagement. The answers to those questions are incredibly different, but one of the answers requires more resources than most of us have at our disposal, including myself.

I have a question. If reddit admins don't like self promoters(reff. links, advertisement) isn't it illegal then to rip someone's else pictures and videos and upload it on imgur? Those pictures and videos were given for promotion only and links on paysite are must?

beaner I am confuser why do you want trevesty to post your links on his sub-reddit? It takes a lot of time and hard work to get subscribers. Or I missed something?

Well I getting self promoted in my sub-reddits and I noticed my traffic went down from hundreds to tens per day (but amount of subscribers increased). Did my domains got banned somewhere?

PM me a couple of your domains and I will see if they are banned anywhere. Usually if the admins catch that you've made a sub-reddit & are only pushing your own sites, the sub-reddit will get deleted also, so if that's not deleted, then they maybe shadow banned your sub-reddit. IIRC, there are a couple of levels to that, but I'm not sure(haven't looked into it in over a year).

Try and read back. I didn't read every single post - but the impression I got was pretty much what was conveyed in those images. Sorry if that offended you.

I am pretty sure I understand the concepts of stealing and the various impacts it can have yea ;)

so look at my image I just posted. What do you think about it? 24 minutes average video... do you think those are sponsor links? Do you think that mod's requiring length of video is there for sponsor convenience?

That reddit, and many others, are worse then any filelocker in that it is *wildly* popular and *massively* making value of content worth....

ummm... I'm off. I will leave you with this.

The thread is 3 pages now... somewhere in this thread was a guy named Travesty who stepped in on reddit's behalf defending every thing they do. He said they could not be spammed because they are so tech savy and smart.

I learned Travesty is a mod, I also learned that the reddit he mods is a haven for stolen content. I have also learned how to spam the site now.

What I started was a means to use reddit... but now I would rather use other techniques as well as share those techniques with others to cause a disturbance in the flow of freely stolen content and the enjoyment of all those fucknods on reddit who feel that all should be free, without ads, etc. :thumbsup
