    Do you tell a close friend?

    That Top Gear has selected his car, as the worst car ever built?

    A few years ago, he called me about getting a sportscar. I did my best to steer him towards a Porsche, but being a tightwad he ended up buying a used Lexus SC430.

    I don't think he watches Top Gear, should I email him the link to the show?

      Maybe lexus didn't buy any advertising from top gear or affiliated companies last year.

      That is how it seems to work in most industries...just sayin

                                          I think it is not only your duty to point it out, but also to remind him that you tried to steer him away from it.

                                          I will admit that I don't know much about modern sports cars, but I always thought of the Lexus, even the SC430, as more of a luxury car and not a sports car.

                                                          I don't pay too much attention to such lists. You buy want you want to buy, and anyone who buys on brand over another because of some list is a fucking idiot.

                                                          Jeep ranks in the bottom of quality in most such lists, yet six months in I've never had a problem. If it does, big deal - take it and get it fixed.
