google can gfy! serp rank for my domain name WITH SPACES

So Im def the #1 site in a small niche and own the main domain for that niche.
domain is ranked in the top for my domain name with no spaces "domainname"
BUT not even first 5 pages with a space as would be the common search "domain name"

do i just need more inlinks and or on page text with the space to rank for the name with space?

Google is out of control now-a-days.

Don't count on it for anything. It's best to move along and find other ways of getting traffic.

lol that's normal. that just means your SEO (backlinks) sucks. you need to improve it.

Recent (since beginning of this year) G SERPS doesn't make any sense for me.

All of my good, aged domains are nowhere in top 100 (been top 10 for several years) - replaced by unrelated sites and actual spammers.

Yeah, right - why sites with NO Backlinks and/or only "spamming backlinks" (BLOG/Forum spam comments with a link to site) taken over variety of "niche keywords" ?

Content is king - but, I'm not sure what to believe with G SEO "suggestions" - all of that seems like a crap to me

well, that's a different matter... anyway, it's still pretty easy (and always was) to rank for your "domainname" kw.
