everyone here has different ideas and both of the processors I use get bagged on this board non-stop, but I think they are the best for my sort of business.

I used them briefly and my sales went down the toilet. I switched to Jettis/Epoch and life was good again.

Been good for us - we signed up with them after the Visa fiasco last year and we're happy.

Globill rocks my world. And their support is top notch (they answer you in less than an hour (usually less than 20 mins), 24 hrs a day)

cools.. right now looking at ccbill, ibill, globill or epoch. been doing business with ibill, and it's been ok. was looking at wsb, but was waiting to see how their payments panned out (i haven't used an affiliate account with them long enough to know if i'll get paid, but i should know in about 2 weeks...).
i guess mainly the interest in globill was the visa thing, good moneys to reinvest, but also makes me wonder if it could cause a "shadiness" issue. just trying to have my research down... i appreciate the info, and any more if it is out there

If you have a good site that people WANT to belong to Globill is hard to beat. If you have a site that blows, Jettis, iBill, CCBill, Epoch and the rest are the ones for you. Globill generally will have fewer chargebacks. If all the other companies had followed Globill's policies, we probably would have avoided the credit card crisis of last Fall, which Globill sidestepped nicely.

Actually, I think you can opt out of the notification thing, but then your chargeback stats may start to suck.

I have used Webcash, DMR, Lancelot, IBill, CCbill, Globill, Epoch, and Jettis on a fairly high traffic site. I am not a stats freak but my g/f is, and we always made the most money with Epoch. Personally, I don't give a shit about stats. The only stat that matters to me is the amount of the check I am depositing in the bank, and Epoch always gave the biggest ones. Jettis a close second. That is OUR experience, yours will probably vary. ![]() |

![]() that's really fucked. I'd get more rebills asking people to post in their 40 bucks a month on a honour system. It doesn't matter how good your site is, this will still suck. ![]()

rebills shouldn't happen because the surfer forgot to cancel. they should happen because the surfer enjoys the site. if you have a good site with constant updates, your surfer will rebill, regardless of an email reminding him of the upcoming rebill. hell, if you're site is good, you can call him at home and ask him if he wants to cancel before the rebill and he won't. besides, last i heard, globill sends the email after they rebill, as a receipt. not before.

yeah, that's i guess the other reason i forgot to mention in my consideration of globill.. some of the bigger crowd uses them. kinda like, "ain't broke, don't fix it" rule...

hrm, i thought there were some of those sites using globill.. oh well, that's why i'm *trying* to do my research.
yeah, the visa thing kinda bothers me... i mean, it's nice that they don't charge it, but it just seems kinda shady too. i dunno.

I use GloBill as my primary at the moment. Their support is great but their fees are high and they scrub a lot. I like them, but I'm not sure it's viable to stay with them long term.
Everybody has a different view on processors. What I've done is sign up with them all and set up a script to rotate the join page - in a few months I will compare them all and decide on 2-3 to keep. I think that's the only way to be confident. Everyone I ask has totally conflicting views. (Although only one person swears by iBill!)

Sounds corny, but its true - this is a business for me - not just about making money. I don't really think customers who forget to cancel help my long term business model, and I don't want them. |

What have other people's experiences been with paypal? Mine have not been good, but I don't know what the general situation with them is.
