I agree on Markham, for "of all time" range.
He wins because he could troll for 10 years, before to be banned.
Other trolls was banned in matter of months or even weeks. Unless I miss some troll whose multiple fake nicks together wasted time for 10 years too.
There was some trolls, who was effective to inject bad mood in every single thread, with posts such as: "you will return to flip burgers" or "your site sucks". But they all been banned in matter of months (anyone remember Rothstein? See "best troll of 2012" poll: http://gfy.com/showthread.php?t=1064412 ).Comment

i don't regard most of those people as trolls - a troll to me is a normal person who gets his kicks winding people up on forums and bullying those with obvious issues with no other intent other than that. when i say 'normal' i mean he's not an obvious oddball/weirdo - but they do have some real hostility and are absolutely cowards.

paul isn't a troll, he's being himself, he believes every word he types - only in the past few years did he realize people disliked him and then he seemed to take it up a notch to annoy people more. he has trollish tendencies but not a troll.
