I saw your post. But you misquoted me. I responded in it with the truth. :)

Quality has certainly dropped for sure because its about squeezing money out of once great brands. No longer about the brands... |
PlayboyPlus.com isn't = to Playboy (the company/magazine) - 2 different things, different management

dont forget playboy gives the centerfolds a year contract where they could not legally shoot for any other publication. and it was not a lot of money (the contract), but it was a building block to become a media/celebrity personality. |

Times have changed a lot. Playboy as a brand is like "Brim" remember Brim? "Fill it to the rim, with brim" it was a decaf coffee. It was on 20/20 about how there are brands that are dead but still globally recognized. Playboy is such a brand. The thing is, now you have the girl next door blowing her dog on hunter moores timeline, for free. It's a tough sell for playboy. And as far as the mansion, with all do respect, the homo is right.

To the folks who grew up with Playboy, when it was the first, the biggest, and only porn publication, its fall from grace may be sad. For the rest of us, it's a recognizable brand, without any allure. Times change, tastes change, technologies change, competition grows. Playboy has a solid place in history, in museums, and in documentaries. It'll live on in social consciousness like Marilyn Monroe who seems like she's still alive, even for those of us who were born years after her death, thanks to media's romanticizing of the past.
