A few days ago they said it was to help stop malware and if they know you or you have a good board presence they can manually approve you. You would think there would be other ways to do this.

Try talking to them. I had the same issue. Just over 100,000. I guess there trying to block shady startup sites. They got me dialed in after a few emails.

send us a ticket explaining in more detail how you want to generate revenue with your ad campaign. we get a lot of malware spreaders trying to buy traffic to fake sites, then redirect them after we approve the campaign.
