anyone who has decent traffic and either doesn't utilise popunders, or sells them, is leaving money on the table.
popunders work, and surfers *will* buy paysites/cams from them. |

The value of popunder traffic is related to the source as well as the buyer. I have pops that value out everywhere between $0.10/k to $50/k. And I have affiliates that can make money on buying traffic and those that can't... promoting the same sites. It's just not easy anymore like it was 10 years ago. |

Please don't tell me you think surfers don't return to a site because they get a popunder once every 24 hours... |

Personally I prefer more the side floating ads... I think they are less annoying. BUT I'm not saying that popunders don't bring sales, I only think that it's takes a lot of clicks to make a sale... |

I hear ya on the personal opinion, and they are annoying, but not as annoying as you might think - it certainly doesn't stop tens of millions of surfers per day visiting the tubes, piratebay, and yeah it isn't targeted, but 1:4 - 6k is what I was getting when I had traffic - you'd be surprised, as would almost everyone who doesn't use them for either fear of 'upsetting' a surfer, or that they are useless. When I started using them it made zero difference to my usual sales, and obviously brought in more money - I've yet to hear of someone introducing them, then deciding to remove them due to any detrimental effect. Regarding the blockers - same thing with ad blockers, but nobody would remove ads in case the surfer found them 'annoying' :) Funny enough, those floating ads I find annoying as hell lol, but I bet you wouldn't remove them because many surfers also do, and use ad blockers :) consoles = extra revenue, and that's the bottom line :2 cents: If I piss off some guy because he has to take less than 2 seconds to close a popunder, and is irritated for 2 seconds (and maybe 0.000000001% of porn-seeking surfers who are now on your page looking at porn, and wanting to see more otherwise he wouldn't have clicked in the first place would actually close a site that popped 1 console), I'll still sleep pretty easy :thumbsup |

If I think about it, most big tubes have pop-unders and do pretty well with google, returning visits and so on... |

Our stance against Malware has forced malicious buyers out. This dramatically affects prices and other providers have done similar.
As a personal aside, I have always hated pops. We didn't offer them for a very very long time because I simply hate them and find them annoying. However, since then I believe that our Publishers have a choice. You may earn more elsewhere, but we have one of the most strict anti-malware polices and procedures. We believe clean advertisers are more important than higher earnings. :2 cents: |

https://www.plugrush.com/advertisers/prices Maybe they just haven't updated it but they still show they are selling US pops for $2.25/k. |

I can confirm that malicious buyers indeed jack up rates on ad networks. |
It cant be just malicious ad buyers that is causing this.

We contact with our team daily a huge amount of websites to get the traffic, we offer, CPA, Revshare, CPM, CPC and even upfront deals but only 10% of the people reply to us. Seems that most of the webmasters are happy selling it to the networks...
Also the amount of siteowners that send the traffic directly to the program has dropped a lot. Most comes now from Mediabuyers and performance networks. |
