Web based mobile services are better for the end user.

Apps are simply a means of monetizing said services.

And as Apple doesn't allow porn, you're stuck with Android, and Android users are VERY VERY low spenders in comparison.

We have clients that are converting their websites so when a user lands on their page via a mobile device it downloads and looks like an App... the 18-25 year old set almost instinctively download the app..

I don't recommend charging the old $29.99 or $39.99 but it WORKS... we handle the backend and content, updates, hosting etc.....

anyways, we're here to help if folks are looking to try this approach.. I highly recommend it

It's not about actually being in the app store.. it's about the look of the site on a mobile device...

I personally think it's the new standard and we are just getting ahead of it;-)

We use HTML+HLS for mobile to stream our live cams -- you don't need Flash ;)
