The thing I hate about Texas is almost every town looks the same as the one before it. It's like they just plop down the exact same stores in the exact same strip malls and there yea go its a town...

Whats so hard to believe? Anything is missing in their state that they should go to other states for?
If you are speaking about travel - its not texan thing, its world wide thing, mamy people never travel far away.

Texas is puny. tiny, mini.

come up north and see the provinces or territories in Canada. I'll show you big.

in America they call it survivor, in Canada we call it camping.

in America they watch fight club. In Canada we go to the bar and experience it.

in America you need a gun or a gang member will rob you. In Canada you need a gun or a bear will EAT you.

I have a friend with the Boarder Patrol in the Big Bend National Park area. Visited him on a bike trip once and man that is a huge area of nothing.

And the people there are some of the friendliest most trusting people I have met anywhere in the country. Every time I go there I come away impressed.

In most states, you can drive for 3 hours and be 3 states away. In Texas, drive 8 hours and you're still in Texas.

Most of you can't even begin to imagine.

Everything is bigger in Texas.

Is it bigger than Wales ?

SlammedMedia 07-30-2013 02:40 PM

Most American's can't even name a few States by looking at a map, so your statement is pretty bang on.

Uninhabitable frozen tundras don't count.

Well, most people from any country in the world just don't know how big Brazil is.

The problem is that big doesn't mean good.

Big places have bigger problems!

That's why some tiny countries are so perfect - Should be easier to manage a "state size" country than a "continent size" country, right?

I only remember stopping in El Paso once; seem to recall a lot of strip clubs. But that was 1987.

Come visit Western Australia sometime; it is more than 3.5 times the size of Texas USA. To get from the south-western point to the north-eastern point would require driving for more than 30 hours.
