They get that per scene for small producers, so you'd pay 2k for a full day. For larger producers, based on what I've heard, they wait all day but don't shoot 6 scenes. They do get exposure and 200 higher escort fees and better cam money if they have b/g scenes out there.
They don't have to fuck every agent. Agents do pay the cost of flying them if they can line up work and shoot them. There are douchebags like the one armed guy in florida (I won't name names) but also good people.
