Think this was posted a few months back but here is the video of the paypal president saying they might or might not which means if they do you will be able to buy on ebay using bitcoins.

that is an interesting choice giving that fraud is always an issue for paypal and their actions are often way too hard on most peoples account. Anyway it would open some doors for people trading in bitcoins.

I've raised this issue with senior executives at Paypal who assure me that this was a thought bubble and nothing else.

There are many different things that would prevent Paypal implementing Bitcoin into their platform.

PayPal already told a few times this was just thoughts and not a plan. In fact I am sure if they had a time machine they would return back in time so they don't mention bitcoin at all in that speech

can't happen for the simple reason there are no refunds with btc, paypal hinges its cs on refunds.

Paypal is not going to have anything to do with anonymous currencies. If you think that's even remotely possible, then you know zero about banking and the accompanying laws and regulations, domestically and internationally.

Very many people have heard of Paypal. Probably fewer people heard of bitcoins. Do they really need bitcoins? They can buy everything on ebay with Paypal.
