No matter what verdict... That was a crazy night for sure...
Zimmerman was asked not to follow Travon, but he did... I may have too if I were him...He was extremely frustrated with crime in his neighborhood, so I don't know.
He approached Travon and it escalated and some kind of fight ensued. Maybe he was trying to get Travon to stay until the cops showed up?
They fought... and Travon is a lot younger and maybe got the best of him? and they were fighting back and forth?
If I was Zimmerman, and I thought for Even a split second that this kid would kill me or even cause brain damage, or other serious damage...I would have used my gun as he did.
If I was Travon, I would have said fuck this shit and just ran...There was no way an over weight guy 10+ years older would have caught him.
I dunno, whatever happened, it all sucks... a young man is dead...I am not sure if he was a bad person or a thug---if he was--maybe that would have changed as he got older.
