I felt horrible for TM's mom when I watched her on the stand. She is a damn good woman who has worked hard all her life.

I'm not so sure about his dad one way or another. But that mom is a good woman.

As far as TM himself goes...."kid"?, "child"?....right.
When I was 17 I was living with a 25 year old woman in my own apartment and playing in bands in central Fla. (they didn't ID you at the old Lakeland Lounge on the Polk County/Hillsborough County line when you were in the band and the drinking age was still 18)

17 ain't no kid. And if Trayvon was like most 17 year olds...he would have probably kicked YOUR ass for calling him a kid. lol

"Stalking". "Child". That is all meant to make it sound like a 4 year old was being chased down by Charles Manson and slaughtered while he cried and clutched his teddy bear.

NO!!!! It was a horrible stupid confrontation between a young powerful man beating the shit out of a young weak man and then getting shot dead.

I followed the Zimmerman case, like I did the Casey Anthony case: not at all. People are killed everyday, some deserve it, most don't. In the grand scheme of life, these cases mean absolutely nothing to me, apart from their entertainment value. And I don't find these cases, or more specfically the media covetage of them, entertaining anymore.

Now the OJ trial I did follow and found it great "entertainment". But it was a novelty back then and I was younger - and more easily entertained.
