Like you I got tired of being dicked around. Is it really that hard to set up a box to work correctly? Short answer, yes.
I Have a dedicated and a VPS with cyberwurx. Both work flawlessly. They answer support tickets in minutes, not hours. They work everyday of the week, including holidays. They use their own proprietary version of Linux that is very fast. Stop getting screwed and do what many other GFY'ers have done. Switch to Cyberwurx!
