Yes I am retired and have been retired for several years...and I am not in the least worried about the Zimmerman case. I do not have a dog in the fight...it is just a time killer/entertainment...for me.When you're running down my country hoss...you're walking on the fighting side of me!

He's got to be right.
Any cop convicted of felony perjury in a murder trial without going to jail knows how this will end.

Marcia Clark of OJ trial fame has also been on TV a lot recently talking about the Zimmerman trial.
This is just pure entertainment for me too. We all have our own opinions, and I would never hold anything against anyone. This is a discussion and a debate; Just because someone doesn't believe in exactly what I believe in doesn't mean I wouldn't do business with them. Or just do them.Herschel Savage

Hey now...I was an Airborne Soldier for 12 years...and no fucking Jarhead is going to be doing me. It's a small case with a huge social impact.
Every day since then in the US someone has been shot. But those are usually a lot less interesting. No one is interested in a forty-five year old overweight man blowing away his cheating wife, or the black gang banger blowing away a store owner during a stick up.Herschel Savage

Citing convicted felon perjurer racist Mark Fuhrman...

Not surprised that Fuhrman is a regular Fox contributer.During cross-examination (in the OJ Simpson murder trial), Fuhrman, when asked by defense attorney F. Lee Bailey whether he had used the word "hahahahahaha", said he hadn't used the word in 10 years.
The defense produced four witnesses to establish that Fuhrman had used the word "hahahahahaha" more recently, as well as an audiotape contradicting his testimony.
This testimony eventually resulted in a perjury conviction.
In one 1985 recording, Fuhrman gave a taped interview to Laura Hart McKinny, a writer working on a screenplay about female police officers. In another interview, he talked about gang members and was quoted as saying, "Yeah we work with hahahahahahas and gangs. You can take one of these hahahahahahas, drag 'em into the alley and beat the shit out of them and kick them. You can see them twitch. It really relieves your tension."
He went on to say "we had them begging that they'd never be gang members again, begging us." He said that he would tell them, "You do what you're told, understand, hahahahahaha?"
With the jury absent on September 6, 1995, the defense asked Fuhrman whether he had ever falsified police reports or if he had planted or manufactured evidence in the Simpson case. He invoked his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination.
On July 5, 1996, Lungren announced that he would file perjury charges against Fuhrman and soon thereafter offered Fuhrman a plea bargain. On October 2, Fuhrman accepted the deal and pleaded no contest to the charges. He was sentenced to three years' probation and fined $200.
As a result, Fuhrman is a convicted felon. Although he retired from the LAPD well before the plea, he is prohibited from ever serving as a police officer in most states again. He is the only person to have been convicted of criminal charges related to the Simpson case.

I don't know what happened to the little girl but I don't think that her mother or anyone else intentionally killed her. I think that the mother did something that caused the little girls death but unintentionally so and was not brave enough to admit it.When you're running down my country hoss...you're walking on the fighting side of me!

He was a liar but he was the first detective on the scene and he took copious exacting notes and one of the things he made note of...as I recall...was I believe a bloody palm print...found somewhere on the premises...I think maybe the back gate or somewhere on the fence. He also had in his notes made from when he entered Simpson's home...as I recall...a small empty box but a new box that had once contained a knife...and also that there were some...I believe...dark sweats in the washer that had blood on them.
The two lead detectives that took over the case never read Furman's notes until it was to late...and the bloody print had degraded to a point that it was useless...the knife box had disappeared and the clothes in the washer had disappeared also.
If they would have read his notes when he gave them the notes they may have had OJ's bloody palm print at the scene of the crime...and if they had the sweats from the washer they may have found the blood from the crime scene on them.Last edited by theking; 07-10-2013, 10:07 PM.When you're running down my country hoss...you're walking on the fighting side of me!

The OJ prosecution was lost due to incompetent/possibly corrupt investigation, Marcia Clark and Christopher Darden, in that order. I watched or listened to the trial daily, including the advantage of a CourtTV evidence feed/raw uninterrupted courtroom coverage on a big dish and despite any personal thoughts on what happened to this day believe the jury returned the proper verdict..Comment

but a video tape. But I agree that Clark and Darden made the case more complicated than necessary and prolonged the trial.
I made the statements to people at the time when he was first charged that he was unconvictable because of his fame and immense popularity. I equated it to trying to get a conviction against John Wayne. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that he would be acquitted...I thought it would be a hung jury. I tend to agree, but I think what happened to Caylee was more likely due to negligence, not something her mother actually did to her. Too many people close to Casey Anthony told how she was a super doting mom to Caylee..Comment

Please explain how OJ signed 50 autographs in Chicago waiting for his baggage and none of the 50 people with autographs say his finger was cut.
Please explain why in a city with 10k cops, Mark Fuhrman was the only one working and finding evidence in two separate locations.
I can stop here, because you stopped reading after the first two words in this post and

"Homocide" Detective?

Nice Freudian slip - sounds like theking might be a little latent...
Strange though that such a supposedly law and order type chooses a cop that is a known racist, whom deliberately lied in court, and is now a convicted felon, as a law enforcement hero, and a voice that the public should trust on legal matters.
Fuhrman must feel at home with the other ex-con, racist, and con artist commentators at Fox. At least he can no longer carry a badge and gun.

OMFG! Like it's totally Britney, not Brittney!

And FYI, here is a recent doo Brit did for a Smurf 2 video (she put her sons in the video too):
Seems like only yesterday they were just tykes:

If you can spare a few minutes, check out this riveting raw footage:
Anyway, leave Britney alone! She is busy being famous, so everlasting Middle East peace will just have to wait.
