I went from 5 down to 1 revolving account and I couldn't be happier. Fuck. I'm going to get rid of this thing by the end of the summer.

Other than collecting miles, points, or cash back I can't really see a legitimate reason to use credit cards if you have the cash.

Edit: I'll take a Centurion card though for the fuck of it lol

Convenience, keeping expenses in one place and tracking them.
I think we're talking about totally different type of credit card users here. I'm nott alking about bimbo blonde in Bloomingdale's maxing it out the same day she got it. I personally pay entire amount and never been late. My City Thank You card earns 5 points per dollar and I use it for pretty much everything including a pack of gum at 7-11. Why would I carry cash when I can have couple cards with me?

Care to point to "only other way" please? Its a method and a good start. As matter of fact I have a friend who did just that after he got out of Mormon religion, marriage and zero credit life. Right now he's proudly paying 12% on his second car and even has Discover card !

When you tried to counter my statement that using credits cards isn't the only way to build credit by spewing off some sarcastic line about walking into a dealership for a 22% 'introductory' offer, you pretty much suggested that credit cards are the only real way to build credit. Perhaps you should think before you speak next time.

What's with the daddy fetish? I couldn't care less if you're older than me, or by how much; because at the end of the day, my 8 year old is far more mature than you are. Even suggesting that you are fit to be a parent is a disgrace to bad parents...

Pffff, stop it Bobby. I can care less what high school dropouts do with their credit or not having credit. Just because you don't know how to use it and benefit from it doesn't mean its a scam. Otherwise using plunger is a scam too and shit just keeps on floating. :1orglaugh

Its a lot easier and surely less expensive way to build it. Perhaps you're just to dumb to understand the concept.

In 10 years if you were to show him your idiotic riddles from this topic, he'd be embarrassed to admit you two are related. :2 cents: But thank you for your valuable suggestion. Which one of your personalities came up with it?

Hey, old timer, the proper term is "can't or couldn't" care less. Saying you can care less is actually admitting that you do care...

Oh and by the way, you should really grow up. You don't know shit about me, so all this spewing off at the mouth is senseless and childish. You constantly suggest that you are older than me with the constant use of 'kid' and such, how about you start acting like it?

I'm sorry you hate yourself so much that you have to constantly try to belittle others in order to make yourself feel superior to them though.

Oh no... another childish insult from a "real grown up"... lol

And where did I ever suggest that using credit cards wasn't a good way to build credit? Oh, right, I didn't.. I simply said it wasn't the only way.

I'm pretty sure he would say something along the lines of "why is this Just Alex guy claiming to be older than you by constantly calling you kid, then proceeding to act younger than my kid?"...

You sure like that letter "I" big guy? Why do you always want to talk about "I"?
All that was done is sarcastic comment to "scam" rant and now I feel I should've just ignored the village idiot who made it.

Well thank God! I was afraid I'd have to send you Hallmark e-card before you hit the sack today.

OK, Bobby. Im off to eat. And Im going to pay with that nasty chase credit card for it. That way I can stretch my payments over the next 12 month and enjoy the scam.

Oh look, another childish insult from someone claiming to be older than me... How very 5th grade of you.

By the way, I hope those 17k and some change numbers from 2011 in your sig aren't your life greatest accomplishments :2 cents:

If I commit suicide from all your nasty, childish words to me, would you give my eulogy?

You do that. I'll continue paying for things in cash and enjoy knowing that I can afford everything i have in life without having to pay for them later :2 cents:

You have nothing to prove, yet so far you've spent 5 hours arguing in this thread with anonymous porn people.

Fucking idiot.

I paid/will pay for both with points : no money out, no credit used....

You get it.

I have desjardins gold visa myself but I prefer capital one visa aspire cash rewards because it gives me better insurance and higher returns. You might want to check it out.

LOL at the ballers who "don't want" credit cards. Like I said. Professional adults = requirement. Broke loser/crazy eccentric = optional.

Also LOL at not knowing that getting 1.5 - 2% (or more) back on your purchases just makes sense.
