Right To Travel

Heard of the concept of the right to travel
vs states regulating same with driver's lidcenses?

and the taking away of this so called privilege?

true? effective? ideas?

the principle of the thing?

what can we do?

idealistic vs realistic, etc.

85 year old kills 2 teenagers in car crash

she was almost blind, still had a license
she had reaction time of a zombie, still had her license

the teens killed were friends of my son

Everybody felt sorry for the poor old lady, she had a couple of scratches and a headage, and hammered on the dead teens, because you know how teenagers drive!!!!!!!

Personally!!

I think regulation is a must. Right to drive for her, uhm, ok well ,, i am a bad person to ask considering I went to the funeral because they were friends.

I believe over the age of 60 everybody needs to make a reaction test, if you don't pass it you can only drive in off peak hours. Not in Rush hours.

My husband rear ended a 70 year old women last month. She stopped dead on I 270 in MD. When asked later by the police why she stopped so abrupt she said "I was feeling dizzy"
Guess what, we got the points, we got our insurance raised, we got fined and we are now hoping she won't take us to court for some backlash

Yes I think there should be a license, I think they should be tougher tests for older people and I think kids under 21 should not be allowed to drive cars with more than 4 cylinders and bikes over 500cc

Call me a heatless person over the age of 40. But hey, I rather live

Okay, you're a heatless person over the age of 40.

Bye the way, what is your approximate (very cold?) temperature?

Strictly speaking, you must exist at absolute zero, in order to technically be totally heatless, but this is theoretically impossible, and pretty incompatible with human physiology I might add as well, as that temperature is more negative / colder (less than) than minus four hundred fifty degrees fahrenheit.

Are you a cold person?

Or I could also say, you're a very cool dude, indeed!

Driving is a privilege, not a right.
