Hookups needed to survive these days ? - GoFuckYourself.com

Generally talking about people new in this biz, and getting 'boosts' from big players in the industry. I been in this biz for 10+ years, with no real hookups....or any large site partners.

Just seems like the ones with 'hookups' will make it...and the ones that don't are fed to the dogs.

My tactics have always been with Google, and trying to zero in on keyword positioning....but with even them being increasingly more stingy in general, with their shtty Penguin updates....nerfing even legitimate sites now...with people that have put years of work into em... it seems like a losing battle for many of us.

Maybe I need to get a sex change, and change my avatar to something hot... Seems like hot chicks get the hookups / free legit traffic the easiest here.. :-/

Kinda like playing a game in World of Warcraft......change your character to a guy, and ur ignored forever.....change it to a hot chick, and you get free help galore.

I have no hookups and I'm doing ok, probably tons of people who do it without any help on gfy. Not making the money I was a few years ago but still paying the bills. Busted my ass this past year reducing my footprint to cut over head by 50% without cutting sales and I'm good to go now.

its not about getting hookups, its about climbing the food chain. Who do you need? Why? for what? How else can you get that? Make sure you don't ever need anyone more than they need you, if you can help it. As a nobody the only players you need to have on your side are Visa and Mastercard. Everyone else is optional.
