Ebay there is a guy selling litecoins and you will get it in your wallet right away if he is online or the next day

Probably less convenient than deerskins, but that's because they were using computers with 286 processors back then.

Thanks - i'll check it out. I Googles alternatives to BitInstant and didn't come up with anything as "easy" as them.

there's a history behind paper money, it's fascinating.

a couple hundred years ago in the usa you couldn't just hand someone a piece of paper and expect them to trust that note at first glance.

it's no different with any new currency. it takes time, moreover, this is a proof of concept experiment.

all kidding aside, it's a legitimate problem withh bitcoin. regardless of how long other currencies took to become ubiquitous enough to be completely convenient, atm machines,e etc, we are all accustomed to that level of convenience and whatever cryptocurrency emerges as a legitimate state currency somewhere will hopefully have addresses these sorts of issues.
