Scotland has a lot. Many in my family are ginger including my dad. Its why I am worried if I ever have kids in case they are ginger. I fear I carry the ginger gene.

I think most from Irland have in fact dark hair.

That said, I think your thinking of the classic walt dysny film where the 'little people' had ginger hair. Though if I remeber none of the adults (big people) in the film were ginger.

You weren't dumb enough to thing that more than 50% of Irish were redheads, were you?

I mean red hair is more common in Ireland than in many other countries but that does not mean its majority.
