    Anyone Having Success With PornTube?

    I used to upload a ton of videos to them but then stopped earlier this year because of problems with their CTR (Click Thru Rate) with my videos. Some videos were getting over 100k views with only a paltry 4 hits to the paysite!

    That's right: 4 hits to the paysite.

    Even PornTube called those ratios 'ludicrous" (their word) when i complained but said it would take months to fix. WTF???

    Anyway, it's been awhile and since they're making news and on GFY so much lately i thought I would ask if anyone is uploading their content to PornTube and, if so, what is your CTR? Are you seeing traffic?

    And, most important of all, are you making paysite sales with PornTube? Post your experiences please.

          I only have 20 something videos live so far. 1:742 with 1 sale on my paysite.

                                      Mine tend not to do well on PT either. Shame, because I like their setup, and Lizz is pretty cool. But my best vid is 322 clicks, 81134 Views | 0.40% CTR. I think I've had 1 or 2 sales... not really worth my effort though tbh

I knew what was happening when someone here posted that they made 30k in four years off of a huge tube as if that was a lot and good. I checked their placement and they were on the front page in the channels and were getting millions and millions of views. I was able to make that much money in one year on one stinking AVS site which received a couple hundred visitors a day once in this industry.

                                              I laugh at it but boy did we all ever fuck ourselves good! All this time I did not know the true reason for the name of the forum.

                                              Mr. Peabody, I wonder if those view counts are even real? It's been brought up before that some tubes might inflate the view counts to make you want to submit more content to them. Based on 4 clicks I would assume only 200 to 800 real views. PornTube.com doesn't exactly have a honest reputation either.

                                                  Funny, that's about the CTR I've heard from a few other webmasters, too. My CTR was even lower, which is why I stopped working with them (for now?).

                                                  Problem too is my CTR for some of the videos I'm talking about, with other tubes, is upwards of 1.0+, sometimes 2.0 or even 3.0! So to see a CTR of something like 0.2 was shocking ('ludicrous' to use the word they used).

                                                  I do agree Lizz has been very cool throughout.

                                                      There are some things you probably shouldn't automate, such as clip generation. Carefully edit your tube clips and put some time into the title and tags and you'll see a much, much better return.

                                                          I went ahead and linked Ruseful to this thread for you, Mr. Peabody. He said he is a partner of porntube.com and decribed it as "my tube". Hopefully he can help give you some answers.

                                                              Heres the thing: porntube.com doesnt have the traffic of xvideos, xhamster, pornhub etc because the site fucking sucks. Point blank. From a surfers perspective. Surfers are only going there because google is telling them its a good idea or affiliates are jerking them there, if porntube.com disappeared from the serps no one would give a fuck. Webmasters love the name and im sure the owners masturbate every night about how great the name is but surfers in the real world dont give a shit. If xvideos,xhamster, or pornhub had no serps they would still have a ton of traffic because the sites are better. Piriod. Surfers are only aware of porntube.com cus they get hit over the head with it. And yes I know im a dumb, lazy affiliate but ive been a surfer for all my life so I would say Im an expert .

                                                              And before someone who is obviously smarter than me comes talking shit, I submitted to ALL the major tubes and saw similar stats as the others who posted here.

                                                                  I actually employ a full-time Editor and do some editing of promo vids myself (when I have enough time and always when I add a new paysite to my network). I assumed he meant "automate" as in having an employee do it but if he's "auto-generating" clips then that would be very BAD I agree. LOL Besides, editing is creative fun.

                                                                                  If your videos, which are really advertisements for your site or product, is getting thousands of views but few clicks to your website and even less sales, you have a problem.

                                                                                  Either:
                                                                                  - Your videos / ads are boring

                                                                                  - Your videos / ads are not relevant to your site (Clicks but no conversions)

                                                                                  - Your videos / ads are being show to the wrong viewers (Lots of views but few clicks)

                                                                                  - Or there are too many other things on the page display your videos that are more compelling to the viewers, such as
                                                                                  ---- Other ads
                                                                                  ---- Other videos
                                                                                  ---- Other menu items / things to do.

                                                                                          Signupdamit, you asked The PornTube Guy if Ruseful was an employee, both The PornTube Guy and Ruseful accounts are mine. But, as i explained just now on one of the other threads you are contributing to about your conspiracy theories about me, I stopped using The PornTube Guy in April 2012. They were 2 seperate account for 2 completly seperate companies. It would be rather confusing if one account was promoting both PornTube AND Really Useful paysites right? Thats why there were 2 accounts.

                                                                                          And why does it matter to you if I was a partner with PornTube? Why are you so concerned if I was a partner or a just under a contract? I really dont get your issue here when I have clearly stated that the issues you bring up about user submitted content and TM protection were simply not within my realm.

                                                                                                                  All tubes only make business with Sponsor Owners or Content sellers.

                                                                                                                  The affiliate is completely taken away from the tube model. Unless you are MATYKO and can build 150 tubes with Mechanic Rabbit...
