          Hi,

          It's hard to compare 2 cars that are so different. The Aston is sleek and beautiful and the Viper just goes fast. If you just want to go fast, get a GTR.

          I suggest the Aston or even a Maserati Gran Turismo MC Sport if you are looking for an awesome vehicle under 200k.... or get a 458 Italia.

              I would not get the Maserati... It's nice, but I do not like it as much as the Aston... Sounds great though.. Finish is by far not as good though...

                  I just would wait a year, save some extra cash and get the V12 Vantage S. their new automated manual supposedly is very good, and their tuned v12 in this small car should cause for some fun driving.. And all that with Aston Martin finish... Just great...

                      The Viper is a large go cart. And you'll burn your legs on the exhaust. I surely wouldn't call it a "legend". Corvette is an American legend. Viper doesn't even make enough cars to be a legend.

                      I would go with the Aston Martin. No one is impressed by a Viper here in the US; We see them all the time. The Aston Martin.... It's fast, classy, sophisticated, and everyone will admire it.

                          i'd compare the new viper to cars like the new jag f-type or the new vette

                          both insanely significant cars and are completely brand-new, like the new viper.

                              I'm not into luxury cars so much. So I'd probably go for the Viper...
                              Having said that...the Aston Martin is damn cool.

                                          viper is not a good road trip car or daily driver from what I've read from owners and test reviews

                                                  If you are a prurist you'll want to drive the Viper. Drivers that like to control their car without the aid of computers drive Vipers. If you are looking to be comfortable and have an all around amazing experience then get the Vantage.

                                                                  The biggest problem with the Viper is that no matter how much you pay for it, it still says "Dodge" on the back.

                                                                  The Aston Martin is a great all-rounder with a long history.

                                                                      I thought you guys would appreciate the Viper much more but now after reading your comments, its clear that I picked the wrong adversary for the Aston. I am actually surprised to see that 86% prefer the Aston - that is shocking.

                                                                      Now I want to ask you who should I put up against the Aston in my next poll? Suggest some top MAKE and MODEL that is popular over there in the US of A.

                                                                                  I just want my son's old job. He was an intern at Western Kentucky in Bowling Green, where Vettes are built. Every Sunday he had to drive a new Vette. It was the grand prize in a raffle so he had to move it to the various stores that were the sponsors.

                                                                                          If it were me, Aston Martin hands down. As someone else said, you should checkout the new Jaguar F-Type, price is ridiculous for what you get, I think top of the line is only $92,000. Could even get yourself a Corvette as well for the same price as the Vantage.

                                                                                                      An Auston Martin is a refined car, very refined

                                                                                                      A Viper is a small car with a huge 640 horsepower motor , that sits low to the ground and out accelerates anything else on the road in production.

                                                                                                      A Viper is a modern day Shelby Cobra racer, anyone that thinks Shelby had it wrong about what he built knows shit about muscle cars
                                                                                                      Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants

                                                                                                                          This is the first Viper I have REALLY loved (probably due to the Italian who designed it). But it's still all about the Aston. Aaaall day. Pure class and heritage.
                                                                                                                          However put money into the equation and I'd go Viper.
