More IRS good news

IRS Sent $46,378,040 in Refunds to 23,994 ‘Unauthorized’ Aliens at 1 Atlanta Address

BTW It doesn't surprise me that nearly 24,000 mexicans live in one house based on experience with a rental property. The 15-20 that lived in mine couldn't seem to come up with rent every month but they sure loved to surround the house with their new pimped out rides. I almost went Waco on their ass.

I just read through the actual internal audit that cites that scam - sounds like the IRS did have a team/department with the task of detecting fraudulent patterns like that. And it was effective.

Then in 2010 they disbanded it, while justifying that other departments and steps in the process could detect that sort of fraud just as easily. But it wasn't true, there were absolutely no measures in place to do so anymore, and apparently no one stopped to point this out.

Fucking brilliant. Total failure of oversight & administration. You'd think at the very least they'd have some kind of simple computer algorithm to point out obvious impossibilities like that, it's not rocket science.

CNS cherry-picked the report and put their anti-IRS spin on it. That's what partisan political groups do, and that's what Bozell's CNS is - a totally biased political organization with no sense of impartiality or journalistic integrity.

More from the unbiased Bozell/CNS:

In looked at the actual IRS report - a problem at the IRS was detected, an investigation was performed, recommendations were considered, and corrective action was taken (the report is nearly a year old too, btw, must have been a slow news day at CNS, or maybe it took the CNS writers a year to come up with their spin).

A problem was created that shouldn't have been a problem with a simple database search if they really wanted to do so was "leaked" by two employees. Only then was the problem investigated and maybe corrected.? (swept under the rug and most likely job losses for those two employees)
