"Snowed in" & bored (pic).

I'm looking for some coding to do today as it's boring as hell being "snowed in" here in Austin.

Everything is closed here today due to the "horrible" weather. See?

That was taken 5 mins ago (Noon CST) outside the window. It's a terrible one! haha

Anyone have a PHP job to do today? I want something to do.

Haha..

It's Austin, Texas... All the schools have closed. Even the University (UT Austin).

To be fair though, Austin isn't prepared for these kinds of things. Many of the roads are iced up and we don't have in place the resoucres to salt/sand the roads.

All the newscasters were saying on the tube this morning. "DO NOT GO OUT TODAY UNLESS IT'S ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY."

Ive seen that complex!

Im trying very very hard not to go out and build a little snowman on the steps of my building.

Greetigns fellow Austinite! for those that dont know us texans, we dont deal well with snow! :-) And, yes, that picture is the whole entire town snowed in. All the schools closed. Most of the businesses. Yep, just a little freezing rain, we all run for the hills!

Haha.. Yeah it's off Justin Road (Justin and Lamar). It's not my place, I'm at my girlfriend's and it's just too cold to leave so I'm staying over and being a loaf.

Good to see there are Austinites roaming the boards.

You know, I've travelled a lot but never have really seen a good snowing. Well I used to live in Seattle a couple years and I had one really good snow -- well the kind a southern boy dreams of.

About a foot came overnight. I know that's nothing to you experienced weirdos up north. haha.

I cannot fathom 11ft of snow anywhere.

Hrmm I took this picture of the driveway just so you can feel better.

Those banks are 6 feet tall.

Crazy southerners. You can't even see pavement here from Dec-Mar. And I'm not even REALLY far north

Well, talking about snow, there's a big storm coming to the east coast.

Texas at times in the winter it will rain then freeze, then you get people that have no ideal how 2 drive on ice, much less chains for the car. How do you drive on ice anyways, I was never very good at it.

Yeah... the weather here in Seattle is really odd today, and I had to go out bopping around in it to try and meet models. The sky looks all funny and blue. Plus it is really bright out today, what causes that?

We got 2.5ft of snow in 24hrs.

The little blur in the middle is my neighbors kid playing in the snow.

Imprint of my car remained in the snow after I pulled it out.

Seriously, you sweat while swimming in the pool.

Fucking humidity...now I live in Nevada it's hot as fuck but it's dry.

You spend all day here trying to drink enough water and it seems like you never do.
