How would I get it - Its in Hull and I am in London - That's a 5 hour return trip...

They are also my tenants so I have to be a bit careful about getting too agro about it....

Not if the goods weren't delivered... The store should have checked the address they delivered to was correct and that the person accepting said goods was authorized to accept them.

Its basic protocol for mail order supplies, verify the address and customer information.

They obviously didn't do that.

Tell them to mail it to you... Don't just say "welp, my loss" that's bullshit. And if it is long gone, tell them the price has been tacked onto their rent for the next month.. There's no excuse why they should have kept it.. Being a student isn't a get out free card for stealing someone elses property whether they accidentally shipped it to their old address or not.
