    Don't Shop Online If You Are Drunk...

    I decided to to do a supermarket shop online yesterday - I forgot that I was living in Hull when I opened the account and I need to change the default address when I order...

    When it didn't arrive today I called and they had sent it to Hull - I called the house there and they have it - He said he signed for it assuming his flatmate had ordered it - Surely you would know!!!!!

    Nothing much I can do - They get to keep it I suppose - It includes £60 worth of beer and they are students - You live and learn...

          You ask them for it back surely ??

          They didn't pay for it... That's like my next door neighbour taking all my shopping in for me and keeping it.

              How would I get it - Its in Hull and I am in London - That's a 5 hour return trip...

              They are also my tenants so I have to be a bit careful about getting too agro about it....

                                                      Not if the goods weren't delivered... The store should have checked the address they delivered to was correct and that the person accepting said goods was authorized to accept them.

                                                      Its basic protocol for mail order supplies, verify the address and customer information.

                                                      They obviously didn't do that.
