Did the NSA prevent that attack? No.

Spying doesn't work. Case closed.

People from other countries want the USA to take their CIA and DEA (and now NSA) off of their land.

They want the interference to stop. The war mongering and drum-beating to cease.

People in other countries are not jealous of your so-called freedom. In fact, we look to the USA as an example of a blossoming police state. (Same could be said about the UK.)

Killing each other is NOT human nature. It is a symptom of a war-mongering culture and the lack of respect for non-"americans".

Yeah, I saw that. I can say I'm not surprised at all.

The NSA is only spying on people it believes are terrorists, meaning they are part of a terrorist organization and receive support from them. In the case of the Boston Bombers, they didn't seem to have support from anyone.

Wrong.

It's a blanket spy program that collects data without a warrant or even probable cause.

The fact that the storage facility is being built in Utah proves that they are storing both metadata AND content.

No one needs 9 zetabytes of storage for metadata. Metadata is extremely small and it compresses well.

Obviously, the average citizen is the target.

Corporate espionage, intel on tax cheats, insider trading stuff, etc. is far more interesting to the government.

Anyone that has more than two braincells to rub together knows that terrorism is mostly bullshit. You have a higher chance of dying from a falling coconut than dying in a terrorist attack.

pretty sure you are correct because no person EVER killed another person before America was created :thumbsup

Oh, I thought we were talking about the present. Now you want to go all "history channel" on my ass? :1orglaugh

PhoneSexKing 06-20-2013 09:14 AM

The lack of spying on mosques got me thinking... Perhaps it is a ruse.

Why would they selectively exclude them from PRISM? Maybe they are saying they excluded them after the Boston bombing so that people don't point out that PRISM didn't work. :2 cents:

Edit: I mean, we just can't ever really know. They keep this shit secret and lie when caught.

either way, you might want to direct this comment to your congressman instead of me, i'm the messenger.

you are naive. plain and simple. people have been shitting excuses to kill each other for centuries. you can't list one single thing we've done better over the centuries. war mangering? umm, wtf you thnk that's for? love? please. :1orglaugh

and if you haven't figured out yet that people like killing simply for the sake of killing, then i cannot explain it to you here.

I think our vice president said it best

I love these, Obama VS Biden

Zoom right past me? Are you trolling? You have got to be one of the most ignorant people on GFY.

My congressman? I'm not in the USA and thank god for that. I won't even change flights in the USA anymore due to excessive harassment in that "free" country.

I am naive? Sure pal. Again, we are talking about the present here. I don't recall the US having the NSA for "centuries".

One single thing? I have one. The fact that the US told England to fuck off and formed a republic without a monarch was the best thing it ever did; a well written constitution was written. Unfortunately, it has been undone.

Killing isn't a human genetic trait. It isn't ingrained in people at birth.

It's a learned behavior.

The US's culture of death and war-mongering is to blame here.

I mean, just look at first 4 letters in the word "culture" and you'll gain some insight into what I am saying.

the only reason they are attacking us is because of what we do to them.

We are the world police, if we stopped funding the military's of all those countries and left them to themselves, we wouldn't need protection from guys wearing explosives in their underwear
