We currently have 46160471 spammer records in our database. Below are the top usernames, IP addresses and email submitted within the last 24 hours.

I did the same last week - great feeling isn't it?

Started out trying to approve them and after 5 mintues opened up phpMyAdmin 'delete from blah where status = not approved

job done!

Recently I was clearing out some old databases and looking at the storage numbers at a hosting account and noticed several GB in a site I've really only used for an email address. It was an old forum I had installed and never used, and had hundreds of pages of spam. Maybe the backlinks were helping them but I know nobody was seeing their messages besides the other spambots

LOL This would be another great use for micro-payments. Make people pay one cent to register. If they spam you at least you will get something for it

but more than likely it would be enough to keep the spammers off a small forum.

That wouldent work cause most of them dont have a website in thier profile they just have really strange names or similar names and the forum is for affliates ect so they would have websites in thier profiles
