So I got my Samsung Galaxy S4 yesterday...

My first impression after transferring data and playing around a bit:

really really fast and great screen

the camera doesnt seem to have improved over the S3 - even when its 13mp instead of 8mp - it's still good though.

if you have an S3 and thinking about upgrading: only if you enjoy the higher screen resolution and money is not that important to you

So I wanted to experiment recently and ordered phone from china. High end, 5.7 inch screen,4 core CPU..., and I am really impressed. ...well ,it is simple perfect , working flawlessly and it is crazy to give 600 or 700 eur for phone when you can buy something like this for 300 bucks (I can see that now it is down because there are newer models).They have incredible production from different companies and models,we just don't know about them much. I did research for almost a month before buying and this was actually very smart move. I've picked this one because big screen, but there are also models with even bigger. (I've thought that going 6.0 is too much)

i'd recommend it. at least doedexing and odexing your stock rom. there's an app for that. root->debloat, deodex. done. the carriers jam so much shit in these days. it's nice to clear out the rifraf, at least to sort through apps in the app drawer and to stop processes running in the background

love the ir on my lg too, no more remotes! i'm going to fuck with a friend tonight with it, gonna program in their tv while i'm over there.

S4 is 1920x1080, compared to 1280x720 is night and day difference (at least to me)...
the phone you showed looks pretty decent, but it's more comparable to an S3 I think...
but you are happy with it, so that's all that matters

yep ,S4 have that resolution but I really don't consider it important or see some difference. They are not of course same. I consider bigger screen more important advantage (bigger resolution means bigger battery consumption). it fits like a glove! it's ~1/4" less wide than the note, makes all the diff. it is designed as a 2-handed device though. which i do like. but all the keyboards and such can be shifted left or right to make them easier for 1 handed use.

I'm on an ancient phone right now and couldn't decide between S3 and S4 (not a big gadget fan so they don't differ that much for me), but S3's price still stands surprisingly high. It shows that the quality is there in Samsung's phones.

I was looking at the S4 but the up coming note looks awesome, so I bought a Nexus4 to hold me over.

After looking for some time, I think it's hard to beat the N4 for price and features. The S4 was just way too much money IMO unless you do a contract.

controlled with Svoice.. You can set up whatever you want as the wake up command. For example, you can set it up so when you say "Wake up" to the phone while on the lock screen it will unlock it.
