I get about 8 hrs each night.
I hit the sack at 2am and the alarm goes off at 10am.

What the hell is sleep? Between my psychotic cat, over-sexed boyfriend and neighbors that blast rap music all night--I'm lucky to catch an hour of shut-eye.

I wished I slept

Since I have been in the biz (5+ years) I have had the same schedule. Wake up at 2-3pm. Pick my son up at school and do family time till 10pm when I make him go to bed. Work till 4-5am. Go to bed and wake up at 8am to get my son ready for school. Drop him off and back in bed by 9:15am. Wakeup at 2-3pm and do it all over again.

Had a baby girl back in June last year. Now I'm lucky to get 2 hours of solid sleep. She sleeps all night but that is when the house is quiet and I can work in peace.

Whenever I go on business trips I make sure to get at least 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep a night. Of course when I get home I have to pay my dues because my wife is tired as hell.

Can't wait till both kids are in school and I can sleep during the day again. Only another 4-5 years lol..

I have obstructive sleep apnea so my sleeps are pretty shitty. My airway muscles relax and eventually close while I'm sleeping, which stops me breathing. My brain has to wake up to force my body to react and start breathing again. I can't remember exact figures but I think the cycle repeated itself every couple of minutes on average. Probably the worst thing about sleep apnea, apart from being tired all the time, is the splitting headache you wake up with every single time.

I had a very painful operation on my throat 10 months ago which actually improved things for a couple of weeks, then it went all downhill again. Now I have a CPAP mask, which makes me look like the elephant man. The headaches have stopped, but I still feel pretty crap.

If you snore, you're tired, or you wake up with headaches - go and see a sleep specialist immediately. :winkwink:

I get about 6-7 hours a night. If I go over 8 hours of sleep, I have a crappy day.
