    For the record, Paypal has allowed adult for at least a couple years now. What they don't allow is "digitally delivered [adult] goods." i.e. subscriptions, downloads, etc..

    Physical items, such as DVD's are perfectly fine, and I have an email from them stating as such.

        PayPal should set up a "high risk" version of itself for adult memberships, like maybe AdultPayPal or something, and charge 10% for adult transactions.

        Paypal would make money, and almost all adult sites would offer this option, so it would be a win-win for all.

        Until then, as people have already mentioned, you are still paying 15% to the 3rd party processor, and PayPal can still just reverse course and leave everyone out in the cold at the drop of a dime.

        It will be interesting to see where this goes...

                    Yah - I spoke to them on phone. At first I was told by their support that this Paypal billing is possible only at the UK, but their other support at - sells told me that this is possible on the territory of whole EU. They currently are working to make that happen worldwide.

                    However they accepted a policy to work with Mastercard ( and thus their clients have to pay $500 annual fee ).

                    I was told they convert better than CCbill...... and I use CCbill.

                                                                            I've always had trouble with Canadians and ukers who use maestro, switch, and solo. The program I use seemingly cannot process these cards for shit.. And the programs that can don't convert as well..

                                                                            As an affiliate, my top priority is always to match processors and cards before the first drop of traffic hits.

                                                                            Sadly I'm forced to purchase predominately US traffic (87%)..

                                                                                                                                        I'm somewhat taken back that an Epoch end user broke the story about PayPal seemingly beta testing use with Epoch, and that it seems as though Epoch was forced to issue emails the following day notifying people of of the current "beta testing" of PayPal in EU.

                                                                                                                                                Same for Epoch, both have been around for 15 years.

                                                                                                                                                In regards to compliance (what sites/content they will process for) Epoch is stricter than CCBILL, so maybe that's why PayPal chose to work with Epoch first, but that's just a guess. Maybe they just had the right contacts. I'm sure this is something that has been in the works for months, if not years.

                                                                                                                                                    Yeah it does look like that, but if they didn't want this to become public before an official press release they could have contacted some select clients to beta test this and have them sign an NDA or something. But even then other people could have noticed and posted about it.
