I would have rather seen someone with a bit more taste, but hard to get people into the theater unless mega-stars play the role

Yes decent movie if compared with others. Just historically flawed as completely cut out from the story all the Commodore, Radio Shack TRS-80, Atari, Spectrum etc., not even mentioned once, to keep the plot easier to follow for the larger uninformed audience.

The first was the MITS Altair 8080 in in 1975 - no any Apple. Later? In 1983, Commodore had 40% of the PC market: 2 million units sold , and 2.5 million in each for next 3 years. Apple][ in 1984 sold a million and was best year.
Must give credits to ipod for let people think Apple invented the Sony Walkman in place of Apple, and to iphone for let people think Apple invented the Motorola cell phone instead of Motorola. As well as before to Mac for let people think Apple invented the mouse, this specific story however is in the movie and it shows really Xerox Parc invented it (but its managers think it is not useful), Jobs seen it there. Last masterpiece it was Apple finally got its patent on a rectangle with rounded corners. Really Apple invented the rounded corners, guys.

You guys shouldn't dismiss Ashton Kutcher. He's actually a really good dramatic actor. He stars in one of my all-time favourite sci-fi movies called The Butterfly Effect.



It was a great story, but another reason for liking the movie was Kutcher's performance. I went to see it expecting nothing but the movie delivered a whole lot more. Worth watching, and I'll definitely watch the new Jobs movie too.

i thought that movie would be better. It started ok but it had too much of a teen movie feel to me. Plus i generally dont care about plot holes but this one i just couldnt understand while watching: Waking up without arms. Instead of going to another dimension immediately, he decides to stay in this one and eventually tries to kill himself. Huge WTF moment for me, it doesn't make any sense. Especially when he fails and only THEN he goes to another dimension. Lame.
