me too cause I had an awesome teacher for history and geogrpahy in school. I had her a couple years in a row because of the honours thing. In junior year she gave us a blank map of the world and we couldn't pass the class until we could fill it in without one single mistake. There was another map with major landmarks and things such as rivers, lakes, mountain ranges..we were allowed two wrong on that. Most of it has stayed with me. Best assigment we ever had..was hard but it has helped me so much.

I had a similar test back in HS too. I was surprised that almost the whole class couldn't even name all 50 states. So iguess whoever said that we're bad in gepography were right.

But for people who are not from America prob'ly are only seeing TV shows where we're making fun of the dumbasses in this country & are taking it to heart thinking that's how we all are. They rarely put intelligent, well spoken people on TV as entertainment here.

For the record, not only can I name all 50 states and their locations, plus most of the countries in the world, I've been to 42 of the 50 states, and over 60 countries...so I know my geography alright. Now, my Engrish on the other hand....I speak more gooder than anyone I knows.

i don't remember all the facts, and am feeling kinda lazy to research it right now, but didn't clinton specifically withhold infromation from the american people... such as the information about n korea and their nuclear department... which if was not the case could possibly have deterred the threat we have now?

i really could be wrong, but this is what i remember, if memory serves me correct.

why is it that conservative people refer to presidents who were interested in the actual human beings first as "weak"? maybe being concerned with health care, education, jobs and feeding people isn't a bad thing... maybe it's not weak. political? sure, but that's what presidents are.

we have people living in this country in miserable conditions, yet we're worrying about the rest of the world instead of taking care of our own people. most conservatives speak of the poor as lazy and make jokes about them. there IS no country without "we, the people".
