    Donate and help this little girl

    Hey everyone, some of you here know me (and even more don't) despite my lack of posts here. A close friend of mines little girl is having some pretty nasty medical issues and they've setup a page on gofundme to try and get some donations from friends and family to help cover the mounting costs. I don't think they're expecting much, but knowing how generous the gfy crowd can be at times i figured i'd post here and see if i could help.

    Would love to see gfy come through like it does from time to time and annihilate their $1000 goal on that page (honestly they need alot more, but like i said i don't think they're expecting much). Hoping they'll get enough smaller donations to add up or one of you big ballers with a soft heart will step in and make a nice dent, If i was able i'd just knock that goal out but i've already made a decent sized donation privately and i'm far from ballin so please .

          Not to poo poo what is probably a worthy cause but:

          1. There is a lot of detail missing from the donation page. Where is this taking place, either geographically or hospital wise. Where is Dahlia, where is her family. People tend to donate more to someone more local to them.

          2. They reference a facebook page but that page is for a closed group so to see any detail you have to request to join the group and I assume have to wait for an acceptance before you can see if there is any more detail there.

          These 2 things are enough to stop me from donating. I have sent the creator of the page an email informing them of that and have told them if they fix those issues to let me know.

              yeah agreed, i'm not really doing much on that side of things so not sure if they just didn't really think about it or what, sure they'll welcome any constructive criticism that helps their efforts though. I don't want to really say anything other then what they have up so i'll leave it to them, i'm just trying to put some eyeballs on it and i know i've seen other positive results from here before on stuff like this so figured i'd put it out there.

              anyone that does reach out to them to give any tips or whatever it'd be great if you could be discrete and not mention gfy or anything industry related please, didn't really think that part through before posting

                  Hey. Yeah they approved me into the facebook group and they have more detail there, hospital names, etc so it makes it appear a lot more legit.

                  I will probably make some sort of donation but have to wait till tomorrow to see what the bank looks like..lol. I did some heavy damage to my personal account this weekend.

                  I did not mention gfy in any waya and I tried to make the inquiry as polite as possible.

                  Sorry to not be real trusting up front, past experiences here on gfy still leave me skeptical from time to time (do a search on lunsford and sort it ascending and read all the Jessica Lunsford/Dave Stodgehill shit from back in 2005 or so).

                  The little girl's birthday is tomorrow it looks like. I hope she gets well. 3 year olds shouldn't have to go through shit like that. Breaks my heart.

                                  i understand the skepticism for sure, for whats it worth: it is legit, i get nothing from it other than trying to help some long time friends through some rough times, and I'm definitely too busy working nowadays to try and scam some donations on gfy

                                                                          Honestly forgot i posted about it here before, so i guess thanks for digging it up CurrentlySober, she was doing great for a while then everything kinda hit the fan again.

                                                                          I understand and am not hating on anyone that doesn't want to donate, anyone that does it's very much appreciated, the only thing i'm asking for from 100% of the people reading this thread is if you have to be on your negative bullshit then keep it here where it belongs and don't take it to the family, they're having a hard enough time and there's a special place in hell for people that troll other people when they're going through shit like that w/ their baby girl. Ideally you'd just save it for another thread and just quietly go your own way but if you must troll, troll me here

                                                                              its a horrible thing for a young family to go through and sometimes as a community you have to pull together for good causes

Their only $110 away from their goal now thanks to yours and a few others generous donations, maybe gfy can come together to get them the rest of what they're shooting for before little dahlia is done gettin her cath today, that would be pretty awesome
