ReJoin Offer...recurring or no-recurring?

Hi guys, I'm considering a rejoin offer to outgoing members (50% discount) and would like to make it only on one price, just to make them easily decide without too much thinking. Do you think it could work better doing it on recurring or no-recurring price? Do you have any direct experiences on this kind of offers? How it worked for you?

Test it and see. Don't worry about what people here think, as most of them don't have a clue anyway.

Test it with your members and see how it goes. Then test something else. Then test something else. You'll eventually figure out what works for your site and your customers.

Exmembers should be offered a lower RECURRING price.
Many of them will sign up again and retain longer the second time if the members area is updated.

I recently did this with old members of two of my sites and got just over 8% take up on the offer. I guess that sounds low, but that's another 8% income I wouldn't have had without the mailer.

On those I offered it as a 50% discount initial recurring, rebilling at full price.

How has anyone else fared??

Yes, I experienced it...give them one option well packaged, and nothing more.
