I don't care if I'm making $10/period or $100/period. I always set my payouts as low as they'll go. More likely to get most of your money in the event the program closes up shop. At $200, I'd skip that program completely. $100 is more than fair. I have so many programs with $25-75 in them right now it's unbelievable.
I didn't know such a milestone as your first affiliate sale could create as much buzz as this, LOL.
There are affiliates of all kinds, it's all up to you how far you take it.
Some live quietly in the background (I've seen official sale reports for a few hundred thousand, they weren't mine). While others of course are online all day yet still remain productive off of here.
You can take it as far as Roald's empire (or his collective group don't know him well enough other than a few of his partners and workers that are on here every now and then).
The bigger you become, the more careful you need to be. Roald seems to manage himself real well, it's never surprised me he's in his position that he is in.
Though I've had some success, I'd do well to fully adhere to my advice at all times, geezzshhh

This is dumb, I receive virtually all my payments by cheque and have to pay the bank like $15 to cash them. For me it wouldn't be worth setting payments so low, I usually set at $200 - $500.
