Why Would Anyone Want To Be Famous?

Seems like a living nightmare to me. Case in point:

10 of the Ugliest Celebrities
http://www.grated.com/10-of-the-ugli...source=taboola

Besides cunty shit like that, you have assholes following you around, and snapping pictures constantly. And if something in your life goes wrong, everyone knows about it. Remember this? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...iler-park.html

That poor bitch. Her life hit the shits. Why does the whole world have a right to know?

And this is something people crave! I'd go berserk.

There are some advantages depending on how you feel about it.

Some people will pay you obscene amounts of money to wear their clothes or spend 1 day making a commercial to advertise their product. Endorsements in general can rake in a ton of money for those celebs that want to take them.

Fame can give you access to other things and other people so if you have causes that you are passionate about you can use that fame to help them.

Depending on what you do for a living you might be living a dream. If you are an actor or musician you are now being paid handsomely to do the job you love. Most people are not allowed that opportunity.

If you are single you can get some grade A ass.

Your fame can give you special treatment if you want it.

These are just a few from off the top of my head.

Fame, a lot of the time, is what you make of it. If you are out in clubs drinking and doing stupid shit and out at all the Hollywood hot spots you will be followed around and photographed. If you live a normal, somewhat typical and boring life the paparazzi tire of you pretty quickly. Look at a guy like Harrison Ford or Tom Hanks. Those are two of the biggest stars in the world yet they are never in the tabloids. Why? Because they live pretty normal, boring lives. Sure, if Tom Hanks went out, got drunk, puked in the street the pulled his cock out and ran down the sidewalk, they would be all over him. If he were on Twitter posting crazy pictures of himself or saying crazy things about himself they would be all over him. In reality he is just a dude who has a cool job and is pretty much left alone.

Back in 2007 I became a local celebrity for going on The O'Reilly Factor (see sig) and flipping off Michelle Malkin. Around that time I was also on Inside Edition. Anyway, I wasn't a real celebrity by any means yet I still had people trying to hang out with me 'cause they saw me on TV and automatically assumed I had loads of money. I had a ridiculous amount of fake friends and most of 'em used the shit out of me. I remember sitting around my house one night when a dude who lived a mile down the street (who I had only met a few times) knocked on the door with his girlfriend. He was like, "see? I told you I knew this guy. We're really good friends." Then he winked at me and they left. I was like, "WTF?" People used to come over, party at my place, drink my booze, trash my house, and then leave without even cleaning up. I put it up with it for a while since some of the chicks were cute but then I shut that operation down. Anyway, as I said, I was very far from a real celebrity but, as Mike Savage said on his radio show once, even if you're a piece of shit F-list celebrity you'll always have at least somebody trying to use you for something. It really put things into perspective for me and made me feel for some of these real celebrities. I couldn't imagine having my every move scrutinized and plastered all over the news. I never thought I'd find myself sympathizing with that Britney Spears retard but I actually did. Long story short, I started turning down show offers and faded back into obscurity where I belong.

True, famous people often are well off. Not always, though. And lots of money can be made without fame.

Personally don't think it's worth it.

Just curious.

Why did you agree to go on that show? Did you know she was going to attack you like that?

Also, did it give you any kind of boost in sales?

I know from some of the other times mainstream and people off this board have mixed they have said the sales have been substantial afterwards.
